Bean in OKC

Me and Bean hung out in OKC today. She did great walking around the
city. I was so proud of her.

Iron & Wine

Last night I saw Sam Beam perform at the Paramount theatre in Abilene
Tx. I had seen Iron & Wine play a few years ago with the full band and
Calexico. This show was quite mello. Sam played "flightless bird"
without playing many notes on the guitar, just enough to make sure he
was singing in key. The encore was "Trapeeze swinger". The Paramount
was a cool old theatre.

Emory Pass

This is a view from Emory pass looking east towardsbthe the rio
grande. You can see the Caballo Mts. On the horizon cathing the last
light of the last day of 2009.

Bean and the Mountains

I took bean on a hike at the base of the Organs the other day. She did
really well considering that we were trailblazing through cacti and
scrub most of the time. We found a really cool wash to take a nap in.

Mesilla Christmas Eve

I'm catching up on some posts here. I spent Xhristmas eve evening at
an event on the square in Mesilla. It was nice and festive.

Fresh snow

I spent the last few days of December in Mimbres visiting a friend.
Two out of three days had nice snow storms. Non of the snow lasted
long but it was fun while it lasted. Bean enjoyed it most.

She's wild

The were actually having fun. Newman is a big goofy puppy.
